Great article Jeff. I think Google is on the right track and their AuthorRank system is also going to affect how traffic is diverted to the different sites. I think if people continue to engage on social media and post high quality content then the rest is easy!

    Jeff,
Couldn’t agree more. This is the most common conversation that I have with prospects, clients and small businesses…focus on writing and producing better content. The inter webs would be a better place if more people followed these rules.

Thanks for presenting the information in such an informative, succinct and graphic way.

  4. We agree! For the last month we have been adding visual content to our website. We’ve added a slideshow, images, and infographics. And, in just 30 days we have moved to Page 1 on Google Search.

    Hi Jeff,

Great article packed with info. Love the info graphic. Quality content is key, although it’s a bit disheartening when you manage to create a good piece – but it doesn’t get much feedback. In that case it’s an indication that your promotional strategies need a bit of a lift.

Great article, I work in the business ( at my normal 9-5) and my own business, and I will keep this email as a good reference.

I always tell people, the hardest part of a building any website is not the coding, but the content. Without good content, a website fails.
